In developing the Student Support Services module, GTI have actively worked with customers to understand and deliver the service needs of Student Services that work alongside and independently of Careers. Last, but not least, we have considered the employer’s use of TARGETconnect. We have tackled this from two angles. Firstly through providing the opportunity to post jobs, register for events and send mailings to students – all under the supervision of the Careers Service. Secondly, we have developed the Business Participation Management module. A completely new innovation giving the larger employer the tools to coordinate employee attendance at events; reducing the overheads in managing events and putting in place a process for repeatable success both on and off campus.
